The Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari has assured Nigerians that Boko Haram, abduction, banditry and all other forms of insecurity plaguing the country will end this year.
The President stated this during the Juma’at prayer held in commemoration of the 2021 Armed Forces Remembrance Day at the National Mosque, Abuja on Friday, January 8.
Represented by the Defence Minister, Rtd. Maj. Gen. Bashir Magashi, President Buhari appealed to Nigerians to pray for the armed forces as they work towards ending all forms of insecurity in the country.
“This is a year of action and we will finish what we are doing. What is happening in this country will soon be over. This year, we will finish what we are doing. Pray for us that we succeed” he said
